I’m launching this new page on the website, which will serve as a sort of “newsletter.”

Here you’ll find the latest updates on my various didgeridoo projects, announcements of concerts and events, the latest didg models available, and any “one-of-a-kind” instruments I’d like to showcase. So without further ado, let’s get started!

- Vølyndra.

Next, it is with great pleasure that I present to you some photos and videos of Vølyndra, the trio I'm a part of.

After years of collaborating on various projects and videos, including the Zalem Signature didgeridooit was time to form a band and create more music with Zalem. To round out our lineup and bring a whole new world to blend with our own, we’re sharing this adventure with Elodie, a very talented cellist and nyckelharpa player who also handles the vocals. In this trio, I mainly play guitar, but I also play the RAV drum, the kick drum, and, of course, the didgeridoo.

Here’s our first track, listen to it and share it as much as you like :

The idea is to blend acoustic instruments and bring different worlds together... We call the resulting music “Tribal Nordic”: a blend of the Scandinavian sounds of the nyckelharpa, Swedish ballads, and polskas, combined with a more tribal, organic, and vibrant energy, driven in particular by the didgeridoo.

- Crowdfounding for Vølyndra's first album.

After our first show in early July, we have more concerts lined up (including at the didgeridoo festival “Le Rêve de l’Aborigène” on Saturday, July 25) throughout the rest of the summer and into the end of the year, and we plan to record an album to capture the many compositions we’ve been working on for months.

To be able to produce this album calmly and under the right conditions, we’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign, so if you like our music, if you want to follow our journey and help us grow our music, head over to Ulule's page where we explain everything.

As part of this crowdfunding campaign, you’ll find lots of pretty cool rewards, such as a signed CD, a private concert at your home, or an Ujazi didgeridoo at a discounted price, among other options.

- New version of the ZS in D !

Talking about Vølyndra naturally leads me to introduce you to the latest addition to the Zalem Signature instruments: the D.

The trio first came together to record a cover of “Remember the Name,” a Fort Minor song that I’d been planning to arrange with the didgeridoo for many years. The creation of this custom-made didgeridoo for Zalem in D, the meeting with Elodie, who plays the cello, and the desire to shoot a memorable video for this cover—everything came together to announce the Zs50 in D in an original way.

This D is a true marvel in terms of playability; it’s very precise and allows you to play at very low volumes, using just a gentle stream of air, for the vibration to start easily in the lower registers. Zalem, once again, was very particular about this didgeridoo, and I had to make numerous prototypes, but once I found the right balance and achieved the proper connection with the air columns of the ZS models in C and B, this didgeridoo came together quite naturally and stood out with its very open configuration, rich harmonics, and versatility.

Crafted from a beautiful, dense olive wood with a grain of rare fineness, it will serve as a reference for future ZS instruments I make on request. So don’t hesitate to place an order—I still have a little olive wood left. And to learn more about the ZS series, visit this dedicated page of the website.

- 10 years for Ujazi Didgeridoo and 3 unique instruments.

Finally, it's still time to celebrate Ujazi Didgeridoo’s 10th anniversary with you! I actually started making instruments in 2012-2013, but it wasn’t until late 2015, October, to be precise, that Ujazi Didgeridoo was officially launched.

To celebrate and mark the occasion, I put one unique instrument up for sale each month in October, November, and December 2025:

- a D in Ziricote, a dark, very dense wood that ranges in color from dark orange to black, passing through every shade and nuance of brown, accompanied by a distinct creamy-white sapwood, and of course, its unique patterns.

- a C# made of Pink Ivory, a wood with an incredible deep pink color, even denser than Ziricote. Its color, combined with highlights that sometimes accentuate and sometimes diminish the depth and intensity of the pink, occasionally wavy patterns, and always that distinct white sapwood, give it a truly astonishing and captivating appearance. “Pink Ivory” is a name that suits it perfectly.

- a B in rosewood, a warmer, more understated wood, even though it features movements and a grain of great beauty. Slightly less dense, the B brought to life with this wood offers great resonance, warmth, and roundness in the lower-midrange harmonics… a strong personality. And of course, serving as a common thread among these three instruments, the white sapwood of Instinct.

Check out the photos and video (in the order listed above).

- Group photos and delay...

For me, the start of summer is often an opportunity to share group photos of the didgeridoos that are available and will be featured at the festivals I regularly attend.

This year, there are no group photos and very few didgeridoos available (the two featured at the top of the page took many months to craft, as I struggled to find time for them amid the orders I had to fulfill) because unexpected medical issues caused me to fall far behind - a backlog I’m still struggling to catch up on as I write this. However, since we’re still celebrating Ujazi’s 10th anniversary, I thought it would be interesting to share photos of some didgeridoos I’d kept to myself.

You’ll find a wide variety of wood species, both in the bodies of the instruments and the mouthpieces. Can you guess each of these wood species?

If you’re a player, feel free to send me a message on social media or by email with your answers.

See you soon for more updates. Take care !
